Can I make solid objects float in air?

Hypothesis:

I think that gravity and weight has a direct impact on ability to make an object float in air.

Materials:

Materials include feathers,cubes, leaves, dollar bill,
coins, scale, tape measure, step ladder

The Procedure:

I will measure the weight of each object. Next,I will hold each object up to a certain height and release the object to determine if it will float in the air, measure the time span it floats in the air and the distance it travels.I will conduct a trial three times for each object and record the data. I will analyze the recorded data to check it for accuracy.
