Does the temperature of the outside affect the barometic pressure at all?

Project title:
Does the temperature of the outside affect the barometic pressure at all?
Middle school
None

Hypothesis:

My hypothesis is that when that air is colder, the pressure will rise, because warm air is less dense and will caue a samller impact.

Materials:

1.A Thermometer
2.A barometer
3.A notebook for recording results

The Procedure:

Step one: Go outside. Check the temperature of the air using the thermometer. After you have done this, check the barometic pressure using the barometer. (it is better to do this in April or May, when the weather is varied)Repeatin this step for a week, or even a month, if the weather isn't the same every day, should give you accurate results.
Step Two: Look over your data. Is there a possible equation between t(temperature) and b(barometic pressure that worked every day?
Step Three: If you don't have an equation that works, keep looking at the data. You can still tell a lot from it. When the temperature was cold, did the pressure go up? Asking questions like these will answer the beginning question.

Results:

I have not yet tried this experiment. If someone has, please enlighten me with youur results!
