Hypothesis:

I am doing a study to observe if different species of birds prefer to eat certain seeds. I am going to hang up a half dozen bird feeders and fill them with different kinds of seeds. I will then record what species of birds eat at the different feeders. I would also like to observe if the design of the bird feeder makes a difference.

Materials:

6 bird feeders - different designs
6 different types of bird seed

The Procedure:

I am going to hang up in my backyard 6 bird feeders of different designs. They are going to be all hung at the same level within 3 feet of each other. I am going to make a log and record at different times of the day which species eat out of what bird feeder.
