Hypothesis:

I will test the temperature of equal amounts of water, sand, stone and air to see which one retains more heat from the sun.

Materials:

4 thermometers
4 beakers
water
sand
stone

The Procedure:

I will set equal amounts of each earth resource outside testing at different time intervals, possible 10 minute intervals. First to see which heats up faster and to see which has the higher heat retention.
