Does salt affect the growth of plants?
Middle school
None

Hypothesis:

My hypothisis is yes salt does affect the growth of plants. I think salt causes the plant to grow slower thatn usual .

Materials:

6 plant seeds
salt
popsicle sticks or some sort of label
water
ruler
log book
6 bottles of water

The Procedure:

First i will fill al the bottles wit water and then i shall add a diffrent amount of salt to all the bottles except for one and every morning and afternoon i will water each of the plants for 6 week and see which plants grow tallest and fastest. in one plant i will put a popscile stik that says 2 oz and that plant will be watereed with 2 oz of salt and in another i will put 4 oz and that will be watered with 4 oz of salt in another i will put 6 oz and that will have 6 os of salt and so on but one plant will have no salt and then i will record my observations in my log book every week i will use a ruler and measure the plant and see how much each has grown.

Results:

the results will be posted when i actually do the expermient
