How are vote average scores calculated?

Votes that you receive are simply added up and divided by the number of voters. This gives you your vote score.

The Top 10 list shows the top 10 items according to the vote score.

For example:

Project A receives 3 votes, each vote being a 5 point vote. Project A's vote score = 5 + 5 + 5 = 15, divided by 3 = 5

Project B receives 3 votes, the first being 3 points, the second 4 points and the third 6 points. Project B's vote score = 3 + 4 + 5 = 12, divided by 3 = 4

Project C receives 5 votes, each vote being a 5 point vote. Project C's vote score = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25, divided by 5 = 5

Vote score:

Project A = 5
Project B = 4
Project C = 5

Between Project A and C, Project C will rank first, because Project C received more votes (5 votes) than Project A (3 votes).
