Hypothesis:
To improve ones fitness one needs to do regular exercise that works not only on ones hesrt and lungs(build up stamina), improves ones mobility (flexibility), and increases ones muscle strength.
Materials:
Measuring tape,stop watch,gym equipment,4 volunteers(2 exercising and 2 nonexercising), weighing machine.
The Procedure:
1. 4 volunteers are measured for there body composition.
2. They have similar weight , height and almost of the same age.
3. Before starting they are made to fill a questionnaire as to how fit they are.
4. Only 2 candidates start exercising for half an hour 5 days a week. This schedule is continued for a month.
5. On the first day they are made to run 100 metres on the treadmill, 3 times with an interval of 5 minutes.
their time take and heart rate is recorded.
6. The same procedure that is no.5 is repeated at the end of the month. Statistics are taken and analysed. They are compared to the orignal recording of the exercising group and also with the recording of nonexercising group.
7. The non exercising groups recording is compared with their orignal recording and then results are compared.
