How much weight can a suspension and cantilever bridge hold?

Project title:
How much weight can a suspension and cantilever bridge hold?

Hypothesis:

I think the suspension bridge will hold more weight. i think this because it has cables that will hold more weight because it is holding the bridge up and to try and prevent it from breaking.

Materials:

Glue masking tape X-Acto knife gram weights awl needle pencil ruler yardstick 4 books 4 paper fastners 2 lengths of string, 6 1/2 feet each 2 lenghts of thread, 9 1/2 feet each cutting board

8 pices of cardboard : 16in. x 12in. 15in. x 3in. two 7in. x 3in. two 3 1/2in. x 3in. 39in. x 12in. 32in. x 4in.

3 cardboard boxes:
2 11in. x 8in. x2in. 32in. x 4in. 10in. x 8in. x 4in.

The Procedure:

1. build the bridges.
2. set up a test area in my basement.
3. test the experiment.
4. record results.
5. clean up

Results:

Haven't done that yet.
