i want to do an experiment to test the increase of bacteria in an ear after using headphones. i do not know how to control the variable, the amount of bacteria on the headphones before use. Please help

You do know that you may have to use a human right? if thats the case you have to apply for some stupid nurse thingy=D.You can start off with a Subject that has headphones on for a constant amount of time and the other with no headphones.
