The exercising rate was at least 20% percent higher than the resting rate. The target heart range for a 12-14 year old was between 83 and 104 beats per minute. The target heart range for a 18 year old was between 81 and 101 beats per minute. The target heart range for a 40 year old was between 72 and 90 beats per minute. The participants' heart rate was measured within the calculated target heart range.
