 | Project title: A faster Boiler |
Difficulty level: | High school |
Main link: | None |
Hypothesis:
If I test to see which liquid boils faster between a thin liquid and a thick liquid then a thin liquid will boil faster then a thick liquid.
Materials:
1. Safety Equipment
2. A Stove
3. Two Thick Liquids
4. Two Thin Liquids
5. A few containers (to hold the liquids in)
6. A stopwatch (to time the liquids in which there boiled under)
7. Graphs & tables (to record data in)
8. A few pot (to boil the liquids in)
The Procedure:
1. You should first were your safety equipment.
2. Then you should place a thick liquid in a pot.
3. Next place a thin liquid in a pot.
4. Finally place both pots on a stove.
5. After that time the two liquids.
6. While you are timing the liquids record the action that is being present during the boiling in a graph and in a table.
7. Record the time in which the liquids reached the boiling point of each in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
8. Take the pots off of the stove after the boiling has finished.
9. Record the temperature of each in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
10. Make sure to take precautions at all times.
