Hypothesis:

I think that sand gets warmer because is made out of little chrystals and they reflect the light of the sun

Materials:

sand, soil, thermometer, pencil, paper,clock, sun, and light bulb

The Procedure:

I put the sand and the soil under the sun for 3 hours and every 30 minutes I check with a thermometer how the heat start to rise and I keep track of it in a chart, later I put some other sand and soil under the heat of a light bulb and keep track of it in a chart.

Results:

In both cases the sand rise its heat
